Tenants Queensland (TQ) is launching an exciting new project to empower Queensland renters to improve energy efficiency in their homes.
The Roles
Applications are called for the positions of EmPowering Renters Project Manager (Brisbane) as well as two EmPowering Renters Project Officers (placed in other locations – Logan and Rockhampton (Sunshine Coast considered)).
The EmPowering Renters Project is part of a new grant program. The project team will work together with vulnerable renting households to design and deliver tools that provide greater control for renters regarding their energy use, support them to live comfortably and more affordably, reduce emission and engage on climate resilience. The Project will be delivered leveraging the established networks and connections of TQ’s tenancy advice and community engagement teams. The Project Team will be supported with expert information on energy efficiency and the energy system through a partnership arrangement with another not-for-profit organisation.
