Recent changes to tenancy law were passed by Queensland Parliament on 23 May 2024. Some of the changes came into effect on 6 June 2024, while other changes will start on Proclamation (30th September).
These three online information sessions in July provided a quick snapshot of the key changes and what they mean for renters in Queensland. There was also the opportunity to ask questions.
Speakers were Amy Tidbold (Tenants Queensland QSTARS Statewide Community Education Worker) and Christoph Baer (Tenants Queensland QSTARS Legal Officer).
