Queensland tenancy laws are changing on 1 May 2025. These changes include:
1) improved privacy protections for renters’ personal information at application and after a tenancy
2) changes to the application process for prospective tenants and residents
extended notice periods for entry
3) changes in the process for requesting fixtures and structural changes.
The presenter will be Tenants Queensland’s QSTARS Community Education Worker, Amy Tidbold.
